Funding Disclosures
- Communication Service for the Deaf, Inc. (“CSD”) is registered as a South Dakota 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with an address of 2028 E Ben White Blvd. STE 240 #5250, Austin, TX, 78741. Contributions to CSD are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed under the law. CSD’s tax identification number is 46-0332149.
- CSD Unites Community Foundation (“UCF”), an initiative of CSD, is dedicated to the advancement of community organizations and other resources that serve the deaf community. Contributions made to CSD will support the activities of UCF, such as: grantmaking, development of capacity building networks, and community mobilization efforts.

- Regarding donations that are made, without restriction, to the endowment fund: CSD may expend so much of an endowment fund as it deems prudent after considering the following factors: i) the duration and preservation of the endowment fund; ii) the purposes of CSD and the endowment fund; iii) general economic conditions; iv) the possible effect of inflation or deflation; v) the expected total return from income and the appreciation of investments; vi) CSD’s other resources; vii) where appropriate and circumstances would otherwise warrant, alternatives to expenditure of the endowment fund, giving due consideration to the effect that such alternatives may have on CSD; and viii) CSD’s investment policy.
